This is more tightly monitored and as such needs extra care taken.

The main concerns here are : The Foundations, Insulation, Drainage and Support of wide openings.

Foundations - you need to ensure that the project can support it’s own structure and won’t cause any issues to those around it.

Insulation - with the rising cost of utility bills, good insulation is a must, to ensure that the property is ecologically aware and also as cheap to maintain as possible.

Drainage - make sure that the extra bathroom or enlarged kitchen will be suitably catered for.

Support - the removal of walls or large openings mean all that load has got to be carried somewhere. We carry out full structural calculations and specify the lintels or steels needed to ensure that the design can be safely catered for.
